What to wear in cold or cool weather?

It's that time of the year where comfy weather will soon become a distant memory. Until next spring, anyway. This article describes the nitty gritty about riding your bike when no one has dared before. Feet, hands, head, etc., the whole body is covered (no pun...). If you want to keep your mileage up during the cold season, this is a must read. You could of course, ride indoors on a trainer. But what fun would that be?

Guess what I got for Xmas?

Santa Claus came through and got you a brand new GPS. There's only one thing missing. You read the manual, before installing it on your bike of course. You can see your speed, your cadence, your heart rate, total distance etc. But what you really want is to know where you're going, right? You want to be able to stick a route in there with one of them USB cables. In that case, this article is for you. Otherwise, you'll just be stuck with a very fancy and expensive cyclometer on your handlebars.

Ever heard of a smooth running peloton?

What do you need to achieve that objective? First, cyclists that are of relatively equal speed. There's no such thing as a peloton with members that all ride at the same speed. The idea here is to try to go in that direction. First, you need to plan in advance. This is easier with bigger numbers. A club that has group rides of a 100+ riders will have an easier time than an informal group with a handful of people.
